Educator and Children’s Songwriter Diana Carter brings her “Sing and
Learn” assemblies to California schools. In these performances, Diana
teaches science and social science through music, dance and theater. “Many of us remember learning our ABCs by singing the ABC song,” says
Diana, who has taught in California Schools since 1996. “It’s the same concept.
We hear a catchy tune, sing the words, and remember the song. It’s a
creative way for children to learn and retain educational concepts.”
Diana also adds various styles of music, dance and audience participation
to enhance the learning experience. “ Sing and Learn” Assemblies feature
original songs by Diana, which were adopted for social content by the California
Department of Education.
